21 January 2023. Symposium:“English Literature and the Pacific”
At Meiji University (Surugadai Campus), 308E Academy Common
Organised by Alex Watson and Laurence Williams
The symposium memorialises the achievements of our friend and colleague Steve Clark, a professor at the University of Tokyo, who is retiring in March. His contributions to English Literature studies, especially Romantic studies, in Japan, cannot be overemphasised. We shall certainly miss him. We wish him happy and still more productive life back in U.K.
